Got a request to do this one again but with board mounted pots. If you don't know, it's a FET emulation of the classic Supro 16T amp. More info, schematic and demos can be found on the Run Off Groove article.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Thanks! Looking forward to building this one.
ReplyDeleteYou can tag this one. gotta connect pin 1 to pin 8 of the IC, you have it like that on the other layout.
ReplyDeleteThe layout's correct when using an LT1054, I think.
ReplyDeleteI used a 1044 and connected Pin 1 to 8 and Pin 5 to ground to make it work (built it on perfboard).
With ~12V on each drain it squealed when the gain was all the way up, but that's easily adjustable with the trim pots.
I used a 1.8nF for the tone cap, a 330p instead of the 270p in the first stage and 6.8nF for CX. Works fine and sounds really good!
