Greer Amps Black Mountian

 Here's one of Greer's latest offerings. Seems like a simplified OCD circuit with some value changes and different clipping diodes. Schematic for reference. Easy fit in a 1590B.

Greer Amps Soma 63 Preamp

Cool JFET preamp circuit from Greer. Its supposed to sound like a Brownface-era Fender amp. I'd be curious what it sounds like without the transformer. Should fit just fine in a 125B with top mounted jacks. Schematic for reference.

Greer Amps Southland

 Turns out the Southland is pretty much the same circuit as the Lightspeed, but with some hard clipping diodes thrown in the middle (and a couple value tweaks). Figured I'd make a new layout with space for the diodes. This layout uses the same drill template as the Lightspeed.

I ended up building a 2-in-1 with this and a Lightspeed and highly recommend it. If you'd rather a fabricated board, check out the LightLand on the store.

Greer Amps Tomahawk

 Here's a popular drive box from Greer Amps. It's essentially a Distortion +/DOD 250 but with a modified gain control, LED clipping and a treble cut pot. Should be an easy fit in a 1590B.

Greer Amps Lightspeed

Wondered about this one for a while (but always suspected it was YATS). The best way to describe the Lightspeed (that I can think of anyway) is it's kind of like a Timmy with the bass and treble controls fixed and a simple treble cut tone control added just before the volume pot. The most interesting thing with this is the clipping, with 5 diodes in asymmetrical orientation (3 going one way, 2 going the other). Should fit in a 1590B or 125B nicely with board mounted pots.

Greer Amps Sucker Punch

The Sucker Punch uses the popular combination of a JFET and 386 op amp, much like the Lovepedal Black Magic/Purple Plexi, or DAM Sonic Titan. Nick Greer put his own spin on this and it sounds pretty good. The 100k trim pot is to bias the drain of the J201. Set to 4.5v and then adjust to taste.

Greer Amps Ghetto Stomp

Here's another one of Nick Greer's offerings. Like Sean over at Lovepedal, he seems to be getting a lot of mileage out of the Electra circuit. I've laid this out for on-board pots with the board mounted vertically like this:

I saw on the Greer Amps website that a special version of this was made with a BC107 transistor, so use that if you want to replicate the blue version of this pedal.

Greer Amps Green Giant

Needed to do a simple circuit after all those involved 6 onboard pots layouts. They're exhausting ;)

This is Nick Greer's take on the classic Electra Distortion, but with one simple twist: the Blend control allows you to blend in the clipping stage. Expect some volume loss with the diodes blended into the signal, but it will give a bit more crunch and compression.
