This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

EWS Bass Mids Control
Here's another one for the bass players. It's a pretty handy EQ pedal from EWS. Originals come in a 1590a, and sadly I wasn't able to duplicate that here, but it will fit fine in a 1590B with board mounted pots. Originals have the Volume control as an internal trimmer, but I've moved that to a full sized pot for more control (and a newer version of this pedal has all 3 control externally as well, so maybe I'm on to something haha). Here's the schematic for reference.

hey bud, i'm wanting to do some cnc work for the layout drilling, can you tell me what your grid spacing is?
ReplyDeleteAll the holes should be on a 0.1" grid. The 2 inner/extra holes for that 100n cap at the top of the layout are inset 0.05".
DeleteThanks bro! i made one for myself.. but the only thing is, i didn't know the original size of the PCB...
ReplyDeleteCheck the Transfer Image Library tab at the top of the page.
DeleteHello Sir, thanks for the reply. I've check the tranfer library but there is no EWS bass mids control folder
DeleteIt's in the Misc folder
DeleteNice nice! Thanks!
DeleteHi. do you have the PCB or layout of tri-logic bass preamp ?
ReplyDeletethanks
Finally had time to build this one, I used a B50K dual instead of the C50K (seems to be hard to find this one) and it works fine.
ReplyDeleteYou can now tag it as verified, it's a really nice tool to fine tune the mids on bass!
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for verifying!
DeleteI build it, works fine, but with low output. Got Anyone the same problem?
ReplyDeleteThanks
