This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Frantone Peach Fuzz

For this week's #fuzzfriday, I present the Frantone Peach Fuzz. Got a request for this one. Quiet circuitry and classic fuzz and overdrive tones. It seems to be the circuit the Danelectro Cool Cat fuzz was based on, and that thing sounds great (it was one of my first pedals when I started playing). Original units use relay switching and the circuitry for that has been omitted from the layout below.

  3. Hi! There´s a mistake on the layout, the voltage supply for IC2 (LM386) should be in pin 6, not 7. It can be fixed by joining both pins on the PCB and cutting off the actual pin on the IC (that´s what i did). With this modification the effect works fine, and it sounds incredible!

  4. Failure...I don't know why,somehow my 10r resistors burns every time I plug in power..making new pcb,hope it it will work..

  6. Can i use jrc 4885 i stead of tlc2272

    Alternative of tlc2272??
