This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Build Pictures

Some of these are from my workbench, and others are submitted by other builders that have used layouts on this blog. If you'd like to have your build featured, either submit your photos via the Facebook page, or comment on the layout you've built with your pictures. Be sure to include a guts shot!

    I've built three pedals so far, but I'm thinking that for my fourth one, I'm gonna decorate the face of it, but leave the rest of the enclosure bare aluminum. Should this affect the grounding of the pedal? I noticed some weird behavior when I was test running a pedal unfinished in the past, and the signal would get slightly weaker if I touched the enclosure, or maybe it was just the switch; either way, good to know before I mess things up too much :/
