J. Rockett Tim Pierce Overdrive

Thought this one was interesting so I gave it a go. It's a fairly typical Rockett overdrive (.45 Caliber, Animal, Blue Note, etc.) with a fairly typical MOSFET boost (AMZ Booster, EQD Black Eye, etc.). Fits in a 125B with dual footswitches. Schematic and discussion found here. Fabricated version available on the store.

  1. Verified! It works, and I like it. I put a 3.3M & a 1.8M together for the 5.1M resistor, a 1uf & a .47uf for the 1.5uf cap. and a 25B (didn't have c) for the Bass pot. Made on perf. I think I'm going to box it.

    1. And: In the discussion it talks about the 2nd op amp just not used. What did you do with it?

    2. Used it to buffer the voltage reference. Thanks for verifying!

  5. Hello and welcome. This effect sounds great. I want to test it. However, my inexperience prevents me from doing so. My request: can someone explain how to connect the IN OUT switches and sockets?
