This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Outstanding! Love it when you post where it came from and the occasional schematic. well done!
ReplyDeleteI think I just requested the Jack Orman Son of Screamer. I'll have to try this and see how it compares. I see some value differences and the tone control is different. Wouldn't mind a little more room for asymetrical clipping. I'll have to get creative with that.

ReplyDeleteThanks for verifying!
Deleteim just about to build this great O/D!!
ReplyDeleteThe RED LED´S positive side goes to square pad??? Sorry for my bad english!!
ReplyDeleteNo. In my layouts the cathode (-) side of diodes including LEDs get square pads. The flat edge marker on an LED indicates the cathode.
ReplyDeletesounds great.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: If I want to cut some more bass from the effect, which part should I replace? the 330nF? or the 1uF? or??
Try reducing the value of the 330nF cap
