CMAT Mods Butah

Here's a Blues Breaker variation from CMAT Mods. Seems to be a blend of the original and second versions of the Blues Breaker. Originals use a 1N4148 for polarity protection, but a 1N5817 would be better. It's laid out for board mounted pots and will fit in a 1590G if you're into those.

  1. Guess its time to start etching, Too much fun waiting to be had!!! Thank you for the great layouts.

  2. mesa boogie throttle box please

  3. Checked! Powered by 100%. + Did modes on diodes 5mm. Thank you!

  4. is this verified?greetings from philippines.

  5. In the original bluesbreaker 3K3 is the resistor in series with 10n cap , not 4K7 . Are you sure it's the opposite in the Butah? Thanks

  6. ok to swap out a 51pF for a ceramic 50pF on this? i have a thousand of one and none of the other lol

    1. Cheers for the reply. Having a nightmare with the last couple of pedals i've made. Spending this sunday literally rebuilding this board again, from scratch as i have with a EQD ghost echo.
I cannot for the life of me get anything to make any sound. Im doing something incredibly wrong because i've rebuilt this twice and the EQD ghost echo twice now and all 4 pedals are not making a noise unless i ground them from the back of the pots with literally my hands touching them and its not running through the circuit yet i have voltage. Any tips you could throw my way, as im testing all components before they go on the board and after and i am some what baffled as to why i keep failing at this final hurdle. and im running out of hair to keep pulling lol
