Here's another PT2399 delay by Allesz that might be worth trying out.

    1. Socket and use what you have on hand. I used a BC550C and it worked fine. 2N5088/89 should also work.

  3. the image of q2 is wrong, mirrored, I imagine that if you used an image of 2N transistors, and forgot to change the image. The letters are correct, but the transistor is inverted on the board.

  4. Hi, thanks for your comment, I was looking for possible problems with the pedal, since I was putting it all day, it was a whole day lost ... but I said, this can not be, it will not overcome this situation. so I started looking for information, to check with the oscilloscope, and found nothing, I said, will be the transistor? , I took it, I measured it and it was good, I changed it for another and nothing ... I changed the IC and nothing ... now that I read your comment, I'll put the plate back together ... since I ended up throwing it thinking that it was bad, I hope it is what you say about the transistor, I have reviewed the datasheet and it is as you say, therefore the transistor should be inverted :) thanks regards
I leave here the transistor datasheet, greetings, thanks :)

  5. So, does this pedal work? I want to build it for its simplicity. Do you recommend this build?

    1. I built it and it works fine. It's good for slapback settings and good starter if you haven't built a PT2399 delay before.

    2. Hello, thanks for your answer. So you said it's good for slapback, but for longer delay settings it isn't so good? Is there any sound sample i could hear? Thanks again!

    3. There's a short demo of it at the end of the perf tutorial video on my YouTube channel (link at the top of the page). Longer delay times it gets pretty lofi.

    4. the diagram is correct :), personally to me, pot 100k repeat high position is coupled, the same as the pedal blue delay

    1. No YouTube tem vídeo, ele funciona bem, já montei algumas vezes e acabei fazendo algumas modificações. Eh um projeto interessante pra quem tá começando a mexer com delay já que precisa de poucos componentes. Monta numa protoboard pra vc experimentar.

  9. Hi, i made it using just 2N5089 in Q2 but i have a quite big volume loss. Is there something i can change to bring it back to unity? thanks
