This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Been a while since I've laid out an Electra and I came across the Champ schematic on FSB, so here you go. Should fit with a board mounted pot in a 1590A.
You can try out whatever you have on hand. Just about anything will work–1N34A, 1N4148, 1N4001, LEDs, BAT41, etc. But it won't sound quite the same as the original. The 1N34A would probably get you pretty close though.

Ahh - never mind. I totally missed the hand-drawn schem in the thread. It indeed shows a 3k3.
