This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

  2. I built this pedal with mpf102 and it sounds ugly, is it possible that the replacement you use is not the right one?
The transfer image lacks a hole for a resistance of 2.2k?

    1. Try 2N5457, or F245A. I used both, and works great.

  5. To whom it may concern you can use a j113 if you change the 22k from 9v to a 10k just make sure to check pinout on transistor.

  6. So, if you use a, say, 50k trimmer in place of the 22k bias resistor, you should be able to use other jfets and bias accordingly, right?
