Came across John K's vero of this circuit with a few mods (Mid pot, bipolar charge pump) and figured we needed a layout for it as well. Runs on 9-12v. Pots are all board mounted with the tube off board. Here's John's original layout.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Toobs!!!

ReplyDeleteresistor from 7 leg tl 072 after cap 47n =100k, but David's layout has 100 ohm. Which variant right?

Is the tube just a 12ax7?

ReplyDeleteIn many designs I see a 22uf capacitor upside down on pin 1 and 2 of the TL072, what would be its real position? The negative towards the pins or the positive towards the pin?
