Tube Works Blue Tube

Came across John K's vero of this circuit with a few mods (Mid pot, bipolar charge pump) and figured we needed a layout for it as well. Runs on 9-12v. Pots are all board mounted with the tube off board. Here's John's original layout.

  3. made it today! took soviet old 6р2п tube, using dc\dc convertor from 12v to 6,3v to heater. Great sound! Thanks,David!

  5. one question, according this schem: http://www.freestompboxes.org/download/file.php?id=26626&sid=c5972154d713f729e428f11df7ffa3ab&mode=view
    resistor from 7 leg tl 072 after cap 47n =100k, but David's layout has 100 ohm. Which variant right?

    resistors 1/4 watts ?
    capacitors ?

  10. In many designs I see a 22uf capacitor upside down on pin 1 and 2 of the TL072, what would be its real position? The negative towards the pins or the positive towards the pin?
