This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Verified. Just finished it up. Interested to see what other folks find with this one - mine is just slightly under unity gain when activated, haven't had time yet to debug.
ReplyDeleteDang, Peter... you are a pedal building mo-sheen!
DeleteSub the 22k for a 25k trimmer and adjust to taste. Fixed the unity gain...and then some...
ReplyDeleteThanks Cole!
DeleteNo problem...You could use a 20k or anything close for that matter. 25k is just what i had laying around.
ReplyDeletebuild it, breadboarding with 2n2222 metal can, hfe176 on Q1 and Q2 152, bias q2 collector with 10k trimmer set around 8k [2.1v] to get sweet spot, input cap used 10nf for fatty granule gain on my set, ready to box up this little beast, thanks for the layout~

ReplyDeleteSry im new in this thing so im lost where is out and volume 2
Volume 2 = the middle lug of the volume pot. That's the point of the circuit output.
DeleteYou rock man..
DeleteVerified. I changed some values; 5k by 5k1, 22k by 1k5 to have the original signal volume in the middle of the potentiometer, and I used 2N4401, both with hFE of 289. A great sound in a small 1590a box!
