Jext Telez White Pedal

Here's a pretty cool one for Fuzz Friday–the Jext Telez White Pedal. It's a recreation of an onboard overdrive unit in a vintage Vox amp used by George Harrison in the late 60s. Schematic can be found here. Pots are board mounted and I've tweaked the Yoko switch to just be a toggle instead of a rotary like the originals, and it should fit nicely in a 125B.

    1. Thanks John! I did the Tagboardeffects vero layout on this one, but ran into some oscillation issues in the upper end of the gain knob that I've not sorted out. I was hoping to see this layout work so that I could have another go at it. It's an awesome sounding pedal!

    2. Hi Wad, I'm looking to build this. A few people have encountered the oscillation problem. How did you manage to sort it? Thanks.

    3. (just noticed your comment... sorry)
Never did fix it using the vero layout. I'm using David's layout here without oscillation. No issues!

  3. After build gain pot did not work. Problem was in lane that connected resistor 18К to ground. I downloaded schematic on first day after publication :) Now picture is right.

Effect works perfectly, very cool pedal. I used Dunlop inductor with a green dot. Thanks for this and sorry for my english!

  4. Thanks for sharing! Does orientation of the inductor matter? I picked up the same Dunlop one a few others here got as well. But never used an inductor before so not sure if it's orientation sensitive.

  5. Vorrei costruire il pedale, non ho capito i collegamenti dell'interruttore rotativo, dove posso trovare uno schema dei collegamenti esterni?
Si può usare un induttore fasel al posto del Dunlop.

    1. Questo non utilizza un interruttore rotativo. Usare un DPDT on-on-on interruttore a levetta.

  8. Hi, I've done this one a few weeks ago, it works fine ! But the gain pot is working backwards, and didnt give a lot of difference between light gain or fuzz... Is there any solution for this issue ? Thanks
