Smallsound/Bigsound Mini

Here's a pretty versatile and unique overdrive from Smallsound/Bigsound. The designer, Brian, was kind enough to share his schematic over on FSB, so a big thanks to him! I've laid this out for board mounted pots and added trimmers to help bias Q1 and Q3. I posted the layout on FSB and JohnK has already verified it, so thanks John!

    1. You can use a 4001, 5817, or even a 4148 there. It's just the polarity protection diode.

  2. I only have the 3362 trimpots with the "triangular" pinout. Does orientation of the trimpot matter? Or no, since they are linear?

  5. Working a few bugs out of this circuit. Should Bias 2 and 3 be connected? And also as stated above the 10nf should be a 1nf.

  6. Hi storyboardist! Any chance this layout will get updated? It looks like there are some differences regarding where components are placed on the front/back of the perfboard layout. Thanks again for all of these amazing layouts!
