This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Soldano 100 Emulator

This was a request by Guilherme. It's a FET adaption of the SLO 100 preamp originally done by OldMike and modded by Brymus. I've changed the resistors going from the power rail to the drains of the various FETs to trimmers. Here's the schematic I worked from and it has a list of the voltages from Brymus' build.

    1. Socket and try. Just mind the pinout. IIRC BS170s are oriented 180 degrees differently from the 2N7000.

  3. built it, drive pot does nothing, and i had to jump output and volume 2 to get the signal out, bias is as per schematic but there is high noise and hiss.
tone stack works very good tho.
only thing i did different from layout is use 47k resistors in place of the 43k.
will try to get back to it later.
