Here's yet another Fuzz Face circuit as they say. This is basically the one-knob Meathead with a Filter control that pans between 2 different input caps, and an Attack control which is the standard Fuzz control on a Fuzz Face. Good sounding silicon fuzz.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Hey buddy! You can tag this one! It's been a while since I verify one of your layouts, so here we go!

ReplyDeleteGreat fuzz: Attack knob is redundant hahaha
Are you shure the Trimmer is 22k? I tried to simulate the schematic but it does'mt seem to work. If you place a 2.2k resistor instead of the 22k trimmer the magic seems to happen

Yes. A 20k trimmer is best. You can dial in 2.2k on it. But Fuzz Face variants are notoriously inconsistent in biasing Q2. That's why so many have a trimmer here. 2.2k may work in a simulation, but when you're dealing with the actual components things can be slightly different. Feel free to replace the trimmer with a fixed value, but use sockets or bread board the circuit first before committing it all to solder.
DeleteAny idea where I can find a schematic for the Deluxe?
