Lovepedal Dragon, BBB, etc.

Here's YAFF (yet another Fuzz Face) for Fuzz Friday. This is the basic circuit for many Lovepedal variations of the classic fuzz using both germanium and silicon transistors. If using PNP transistors whether germanium or silicon, be sure to flip the the polarized components, etc. Here's the schematic the layout is based on.

    1. From the schematic, the original uses PNP Germanium. I would assume the usual advice to socket and try different transistors out applies here.

  2. thanks for posting the layout. i just building & testing this one and it's awesome! i used a 1N2222A (sil/hfe 194) for Q1 and a 2N1306 (germ/hfe 143) for Q2. it also sounded great with two 2N1306's, but the silicon was a little brighter. you can verify it NOW!

  3. thanks for the great layout..by the way,,what type of DC jack should be used? Switched or Non- switched?

  4. A non switched one will work if you're not including a battery, otherwise use the switched.

    I using pnp transistors.
What I need to change? /capacitors and diode flip is already/

    Thank You!
