Thought this one was interesting so I gave it a go. It's a fairly typical Rockett overdrive (.45 Caliber, Animal, Blue Note, etc.) with a fairly typical MOSFET boost (AMZ Booster, EQD Black Eye, etc.). Fits in a 125B with dual footswitches. Schematic and discussion found here. Fabricated version available on the store.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Verified! It works, and I like it. I put a 3.3M & a 1.8M together for the 5.1M resistor, a 1uf & a .47uf for the 1.5uf cap. and a 25B (didn't have c) for the Bass pot. Made on perf. I think I'm going to box it.
ReplyDeleteAnd: In the discussion it talks about the 2nd op amp just not used. What did you do with it?
DeleteUsed it to buffer the voltage reference. Thanks for verifying!
DeleteThanks for this nice layout! Gonna box it

ReplyDeleteLove it when you complete a pedal and it works first start. Not sure why this pedal cops a bit of stick.... I like it. Thanks again for all the work you guys put in.
