Took the Boss OD-1 layout from a few weeks ago and put together the Fulltender. It's just a modded OD-1, but with enough changes that a new layout made sense. Great sounding pedal. And if you'd rather a fabricated version, the Odd One Out is available on the store.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
Lovely, thx so much!
ReplyDeleteOh noo, why? After I just finished my OD-1??
ReplyDeleteHahaha. So the IC would just the same with od-1?
Od-1 seems using 4558?
DeleteThere are 2 versions of the OD-1. The early version used a quad opamp and the later used a dual with 2 transistors. This one follows the earlier version. And yes, just about any quad opamp should work.
DeleteJust wonder if anyone got a klamac emlo layout for my wish diy project
ReplyDeleteMay I ask a question is there any way to convert the edga and bottom spdt switches to pots that can manual adjust the buttom and edge response?
ReplyDeleteThe bottom switch you could replace with a B20-25k pots (just wire it like a variable resistor) and omit the 33k resistor. The edge switch would require a bit more modification, but could me turned into something like the bass control from the Timmy. Just not easily on this board.
DeleteThx a lot😁
DeleteAnother option could be to convert the edge switch to something like the voice control of zendrive.I would remove the 47n capacitor and the 4.7k resistor and i would connect a 10k linear pot as a variable resistor to the edge 3 and edge 2 pads of the board.
ReplyDeleteReally ? Let's try, thx a lot
DeleteHello. This layout has been verified. For the Bottom control, I replaced 33k/switch with a 25k volume.
ReplyDeleteFor 2.2uF and 10uF caps, from experiments I had good result with tantalum caps, especially 2.2uF.
Thanks for verifying!
