This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

SRS EQ Exciter

Here's a bit of a rare one for Fuzz Friday. It's essentially a silicon Fuzz Face with an output buffer and a mid scoop tone control. Schematic and rundown of the original here. It should fit in a 1590a with 9mm pots board-mounted. I've also kept the pad (marked NC in the schematic) so if anyone wants to implement the mods outlined in the link above they can. Also PCBs of this (with a few mods) are available in the store now along with 5 other new projects!

And here's a look at the new PCBs on the store now!

  1. Can I request a Layout for the Lovetone Doppelganger? It would be nice to have it on PCB :) Let me know if you want the schematic!

  2. Hello, I have designed (partially) a tap tempo tremolo. its my first circuit inspired by the Pulsar. An STM32 arduino is controlling a DAC so that way i can amnipulate the amplitude modulation. I was wondering if i can send it to you, and post it here for people to have fun and prototype.

  3. Verified.
Intense and thick fuzz. The EQ control has a really wide range for the mid-scoop.
    I used Small Bear's "house-numbered" PN3565's for the transistors.
