This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Pink Jimi Photon 'Weetie Pi

Here's a really cool and versatile dirt pedal design by Pink Jimi Photon. He's made a lot of contributions to the DIY community and whips up some cool stuff. Check this thread on FSB for the schematic and Jimi's description of the circuit.

  1. Just a quick question it's not related to this effect but it's the most recent post so I thought I'd put it here. Where do you get your 3 pin sockets for easy transistor swapping? The smallest I can find anywhere is a 6pin (dual 3 pin) do you just cut these in two or can you get a three pin? Great site by the way its proven to be a great source of information for me and every effect I've built so far has worked first time!!! Thanks

    1. I just get these:

and then cut however many I need with some snips.
