Happy Fuzz Friday, everyone! Here's another one of Robert Keeley's takes on the IC Big Muff with a quad opamp (the other being the Psi Fuzz). Pots are board mounted and it should fit into a 1590B.
This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
What is the lug on the left of the input lug for?
ReplyDeleteExtra ground pad
DeleteAny reason for having extra ground-pads? I see them on other layouts as well :)
DeleteBetter to have them and not need than the other way
DeleteAh thanks I wasn't sure just checking I hadn't missed something great site by the way
ReplyDeleteWell dangit... If Andy didn't make that thing sound gnarly. Andy makes everything sound gnarly...
ReplyDeleteI'll have to give this a go!
Hi! The bridge under the TL074 is missing in the reversed layout :) Greetings°!!
ReplyDeleteWhich type of switch can you use? Watching the video would look like a three-way switch (on \ on-on \ on). Is this right?
ReplyDeleteRead the text at the bottom of the layout...
DeleteShame for me! :-(
DeleteJust built this one. It is verified.
ReplyDeleteJust built it, everything seems to be ok, maybe a bit different sound, but there's a quite notable gain noise. Will it go away after I put it in the box?
