BearFoot FX Emerald Green Distortion Machine

Unique little distortion box from Bjorn. The original uses 1A1200 diodes (which are pretty big), but other (and smaller) silicon diodes can be used. Should fit nicely in a 1590B.

    1. Or something in the 1N400x series. The diodes are just being used for hard clipping, so anything will work there. Different diodes will provide different flavor of clipping.

  4. Is the treble pot 3rd leg supposed to float in the air like that?

    1. Yes. Lug 3 isn't connected in the originals.

    2. OK thanks :) Already figured it how this regulation works :) BTW in my case a 100k pot works better here, in full right position gives an almost-too-bright sound, while with the 50k pot the sound differences were really small.

  5. Hey there. I tried to download the pdf file from "transfer image library" but I get a "This file can’t be previewed" message. If I directly download the file I, still, can't open it. :/

  6. What kind of 1uF capacitor is connected to lug 3 of the volume pot? I thought it was a non-polarized electrolytic. I've made a couple of your pedals and have not seen that symbol.

    1. Yeah, it's a non-polarized box film cap. I get them from Tayda
