This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.
The mother of all TS808 derivatives/variants, the Palisades incorporates just about every mod to the classic Tube Screamer circuit. Two rotary switches control the bass response (Bandwidth) and clipping (Voice), one toggle bypasses the input buffer while the other is a bright switch, a footswitch selects between 2 separate gain pots, and with an added boost section to round it all off. All 5 pots are board mounted, but there will still be a good bit of off board wiring. Schematic can be found over on FSB. It's laid out for a 1790NS enclosure just like the original.
And because I'm sure the off board wiring isn't the clearest, here's a full wiring diagram:
Hopefully that clarifies any questions and doesn't raise more... haha!
Hey, i have trouble with this pedal. 1. when i use the boost, my signal goes quietly, 2. on my voice, i have only 3 positions and ond the Bandwidth hasent any function. maybe someone can help me
Hi! Just checking this circuit to compare power section in another diagram with this' and I'm wondering why 100R resistor (+9V input) in diagram is linked in parallel to 100uf cap and 4001 diode, but in series in the board before those 2 components. Thanks in advance, I've built a lot of this site's circuits and layouts and I'm learning a lot and enjoying my pedals! \m/
Awesome job as usual !
ReplyDeletethis is crazy man, Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to this one. It sounds great. Lots of tones to experiment with. Verified!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for verifying!

ReplyDeleteIs there anything special about the 1uF caps? Just curious why they're large/grey.
ReplyDeleteThey're just non-polarized box caps like the ones from Tayda. You can use whatever.
