This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Keeler Push

Here's a recent trace from over on FSB. It reminds me of a Timmy with a fixed bass control and modified second op amp stage. Nice alternative to a Tube Screamer.

  2. I think I just requested the Jack Orman Son of Screamer. I'll have to try this and see how it compares. I see some value differences and the tone control is different. Wouldn't mind a little more room for asymetrical clipping. I'll have to get creative with that.

  7. No. In my layouts the cathode (-) side of diodes including LEDs get square pads. The flat edge marker on an LED indicates the cathode.

Question: If I want to cut some more bass from the effect, which part should I replace? the 330nF? or the 1uF? or??
