This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Buenisimoo! Diodoss de reemplazo para los bat48?
ReplyDeletePretty much anything you have on hand or want to try.
DeleteFacu.. proba con los 1N400X. O usa zocalos y experimenta.
ReplyDeleteI made it! It's verified! I used mpsa42 instead of the mpsa18 and some diodes I found around.
ReplyDeleteSounds good! It's a very light overdrive.
I would like to mod it for bassguitar. What should i do to get that?
Thanks for verifying! For bass typically you just increase the value of the caps in the audio path. You'll have to play with the value of the cap for the tone control (currently 4.7nF), but the 3, 100nF and the 220nF caps are the ones you'll want to increase. You could start with 3, 470nF and a 1uF and experiment from there.
Deletegreat! will try
DeleteCan i use some mspa13 instead mpsa18? tks
ReplyDeleteA 2N5089 or BC550C would be a better sub.
Deletewhat about 5088 ?? can i use it
Deleteand can i use 4148 diode ?
DeleteBoth of those should work ok
Deleteit works, but the volume level is less then amp level, mpsa18 used from tayda, can anyone tell me where may be the problem please?
ReplyDeleteHey, first of all thank you. This website, is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSecond, I hope someone will help. Looking at this perf I have a doubt about the hole at B-17 what should I hook there? The level pot stays between E-14 and 18, and at B-18 I have +9v, so what is B-17 for?
Thank you in advance!
That's just an extra ground pad.
