This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Black Arts Toneworks Revelation

For Fuzz Friday here's the Revelation from Black Arts Toneworks. There are 2 versions of the Revelation: the Super Bass and Super Lead. The Super Bass is a stripped down Pharoah without the tone control, no clipping diodes in the 2nd gain stage, and an input gain control. The Super Lead version is the same circuit, but with the values of the Black Arts LSTR.

  4. Hi, I've made the the two layouts. Circuits are working and it's verified. I've just substituted the transistor for what i have in hand.

Super Bass: Q1=BC550C Q2&Q3 = BC549. Twisted 180 degree to suit the pin configuration on the layout.

Super Lead: Q1~Q3 BC517. Also twisted 180 degree.

Although it sounds good, i will change the trannies with the correct parts when available.
