Dwarfcraft Shiva

This week's Fuzz Friday layout is the Dwarfcraft Shiva. It's a unique fuzz that can deliver wicked, buzzy fuzz tones. The toggle switches turn on and off LEDs in the 2nd and 3rd stages of the circuit, and the Starve switch bypasses the Starve pot. I've laid it out to fit in a 1590B if you don't want to include the starve footswitch, though you could probably squeeze it in that size.

  2. i dunno if your addressing the question to anybody. but i was to answer this i would suggest you put a spst switch accross starve bypass and to your power 9v it simple bypasses the pot. the pot is just acting as a rheastat varying resistance from your 9v power before it goes into the circuit so by adding a switch it will allow the full 9v to go into the circuit

  3. Foremost Thanks for the answer, and if I understand correctly i connect ( i prefer the 2pdt or 3pdt switch)the footswitch to by pass starve in the PCB and positive to power 9v ?
    Thanks

    1. SWA refers to the first column of a DPDT toggle switch, and SWB refers to the second column. For the starve switch, use a DPDT footswitch. Wire the dc jack + (or battery +) to the middle lug (2) of the first column. Wire the top lug (1) to the +9v pad on the board, and the bottom lug (3) to the starve bypass pad on the board. Then use the 2nd column to wire an on/off LED indicator.

    2. thanks, is it 2 dpdt switch or one only for the swA and swB?

    3. It's just one DPDT. A refers to one column of lugs and B refers the the other.
