This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. All-Star Reverb
Found this one over on FSB. It was designed by Induction and takes elements from the GGG D-Verb, BYOC 2-Knob, and CultureJam's Box of Hall. Like those designs it uses a Belton BTDR-2 reverb brick, which can be mounted directly to the board from the solder-side. If you want a wetter sound, replace the marked resistors with the values listed in the layout below. You may be able to fit it in a 1590B, but I'd go with a 125B. Here's the thread of FSB for reference.

finally I got my belton-based reverb
ReplyDeletemark this one verified bud.
Nice man. You're on a roll!
Deleteah yes. I just made hattrick :D
DeleteDo you recommend the vertical mount btdr2 or the horizontal mount? I have never used a btdr2 so I'm not sure how big they are.
ReplyDeleteHorizontal mount for sure. They're about 1.5 x 1.25 inches, so it will fit nicely under the board.
DeleteUpdate:
ReplyDeleteMy build has too short decay compared to the sample video above, not even half of it. I use the exact value of components listed in the layout, and i use btdr-2 medium. I have no idea where to start to fix it. Any suggestion buddy?
Seems like the reverb sound is cut or gated
DeleteDon't know why it'd sound gated. The BTDR-2s can be inconsistent in my experience. It's likely that the one in the demo is using a BTDR-2 long (longer delay times than in the medium). I'd bust out your audio probe on this one.
DeleteIf I want to reduce the overall output, is the 470R the one I should increase? Tihs pedal gives a slight boost when engaged.
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe so.
Deletethanks for layout,,,,,,, mantab bro https://youtu.be/aXy71DMdsTY
ReplyDeletei will try at night...thanks man
DeleteI have made this pedal. Sound good but when reverb is active, volume drop a little. I reduced 470r to 330r but it's not enough. Guitar signal sounds from behind

ReplyDeleteA small digital reverb module that many reverbs are based around. Google's your friend.

ReplyDeleteBueno , resolví el problema del volumen cambiando la resistencia de 470r por una de 100r
ReplyDeleteCan i use a BTDR-1H-L with offboard wiring for each pin? It would work?
ReplyDeleteI think so, but compare the datasheets to make sure the pin number is the same.
DeleteThank you! Just for the information, it works, i just had to change BTDR-2 pins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 for BTDR-1 pins 7, 3, 4, 5, 1 and 2 (and leave 6 not connected)!
