This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Caline Purple Smoke

Got a little booster circuit that should go together pretty easily. It's pretty much an Electra without clipping diodes and a large value resistor between base and collector (similar to the EQD Arrows). Easy fit in a 1590B or even a 1590G (probably). Schematic on FSB.

  3. I refer to the comments by Rade, which are now being deleted. I read it before being deleted.

Rade, you can do what you ever want for yourself but please don't make this site as a platform of your rant. Me, as well as other DIYers out there, are very much thankful that website like this exists that we can learn and expand our knowledge. Make your rant elsewhere and not here.

David, brother, please continue your excellent work and we would like you to know that you works are very much appreciated. Thank you and stay safe always.

  4. @Boyet, than please make this pedal, don't court and lick the creator of this site like a poltron or a swindler man.

Beside this, yes, i am right....only a fool would make a clone of a 25-euro Chinese pedal. Because the material for the clone would come out more expensive and again we would have a clone of some chinese pedal which is a clone of some world branded pedal. What nonsense.

I ask the author of the site to bypass Chinese brands and, if possible, focus on real music things. Thank you!

  6. Hello fellow DIYers, I am thankful for all the work the owner of this site does. It's so cool to have an educational look at the insides of pedals. And I know for sure that doing Layouts is a relaxing thing to doiso leisure time. Please go on. I am following like a fly in the Wall. :)

  9. The other guy from years ago is a moron, if this pedal had been produced (without the volume knob) instead of the rangemaster boost in the sixties, we would've had far better sounding music. These layouts are great and the only fault of the site owner is his conspicuous silence on Israel

    1. How is it conspicuous? I don't post much at all anymore about layouts, let alone my political opinions.
