This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Clark Gainster

Here's a pretty simple drive that everyone says sounds amazing. Original units had mojo parts and point to point wiring. Should fit nicely in a 1590B.

  1. It is verified. Thank you for the great layout as usual! I'll try another build with mojo parts.

  3. First, thanks for this project!
Second, you should be able to build a Menatone Red Snapper (3-knob) with this same layout. There is a hybrid/mashup of the two, over on Freestompboxes (I think) called the 'Snapster'.
That was my go-to pedal for a twangy/gritty OD, sounding a bit Tom Petty/REM-ish.

  4. Wow this sounds absolutely incredible. Really versatile and meaty while staying smooth. Almost 808ish but more bite and definition. Im running it through my Marshall origin 50 head and I'm smitten
