Here's a recent trace from over on FSB. It reminds me of a Timmy with a fixed bass control and modified second op amp stage. Nice alternative to a Tube Screamer.
I think I just requested the Jack Orman Son of Screamer. I'll have to try this and see how it compares. I see some value differences and the tone control is different. Wouldn't mind a little more room for asymetrical clipping. I'll have to get creative with that.
Outstanding! Love it when you post where it came from and the occasional schematic. well done!

ReplyDeleteThanks for verifying!
Deleteim just about to build this great O/D!!
ReplyDeleteThe RED LED´S positive side goes to square pad??? Sorry for my bad english!!
ReplyDeleteNo. In my layouts the cathode (-) side of diodes including LEDs get square pads. The flat edge marker on an LED indicates the cathode.
ReplyDeletesounds great.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: If I want to cut some more bass from the effect, which part should I replace? the 330nF? or the 1uF? or??
Try reducing the value of the 330nF cap
