Emanating Fist XB-70

The XB-70 is a clone of the Captain's personal '77(?) Guild Foxy Lady, which were built by Electro Harmonix and generally very similar to Ram's Head Big Muffs. In the Captain's own words, "It sounds like torn leather soaked in piss and salt smushed lovingly into ears... It is a brute of a pedal, has a really intense roar at full tilt, like any good Big Muff really." I used my old Ram's Head layout as the starting point, but altered the pot placement and it should be a nice fit in a 125B now.

    Is the trace side inversion correct? Doesn't look flipped.

      The trace side is correct. You don't need to flip it.

    It worked first, I used all the same values, the transistors tried the BC239C. The sound is spectacular, the layout is perfect. Thank you so much!!!

    If one was to make this more bass friendly would you switch the 100nf going to tone 2 to maybe 470nf or is it not that simple. I would imagine a change to the input and output caps would help as well? Thanks

      It's likely fine for bass as is, but if you want to play with cap values the 100nF caps would be the ones to mess with. The input cap is already 10uF so it should be fine. Sockets are probably gonna be your best friend here.
