Devi Ever Vintage Fuzz Master

Here's a cool one from Devi Ever for Fuzz Friday. The Vintage Fuzz Master is only slightly different than the Soda Meiser and both can be built on the same board. The only difference is the orientation of the PNP 2N2907A transistor. I've also included 2 switches for the Chaos and Noise mods. If you don't want to include the switches, just jumper the switch pads.

    1. I don't know about any pnp, but in that hfe range. 2N3906 is a good sub.

  2. Crude as the Devi Ever Pedals might be from an engineers point of view, some of her designs indeed sound pretty good. But I would highly recommand not to stick too exactly to their designs. This one would highly benefit from including something like a power supply filter. Otherwise it's fine. I also highly recommand to make the last tranny switchable so you have the Soda Meiser and the Vintage Fuzz Master in one box by a flick of a switch. Dig your website by the way! Keep up that excellent work! :)

  3. metalhead I believe 2n5088 can not be used already and he NPN, try BC557 or BC558 or even the 2N3906

  4. I used 2N3904 instead of those MPSA18 (I just couldn't find them where I live), and worked like a charm.
I guess you now can tag it as Verified.

  5. Talk brothers
Could replace the BC557 or BC558 or even the 2N3906 in which transistors? In MPSA18 or 2n2907a?

  6. Looking forward to building this, is there any info on how to wire up a switch for the transistor that would make it both a Soda Meiser and Vintage Fuzz. This is new to me so I apologise if it should be simple

    1. Use a 3PDT toggle and wire it like this:

  7. Is one of the chaos and noise lines actually the tremolo that exists in Rocket?
