Happy Fuzz Friday! Here's a big one that hopefully makes up for my absence lately. Sounds great on bass and guitar. From Darkglass:
The Duality is a unique fuzz pedal that contains two discrete fuzz circuits—a gated saw-tooth wave and a raunchy high-gain sound—which can be mixed together to yield a vast selection of distinct sonic textures.
Thank you ! Please, make sketch a compression pedal with a gain reduction meter, like the Dark Glass Super Simmetry or the MXR Studio Comp.

ReplyDeletePretty sure we all want this: https://www.pedalpcb.com/docs/Schematic-SpecialK.png
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they use 5x 072 instead of 2x 074 + 1x 072
ReplyDeleteProbably for noise concerns and cost. More opamps in one package leaves the door open for oscillation or bleed, and using 2 different devices in lower quantity is likely marginally more expensive than just 1 device in higher quantity.
DeleteThanks a lot for the schematic! I was curious about some differences when comparing to the schematic by Aion FX. They use a 100nF filter capacitor in the power supply, do you think it would make a big difference? And I have the same question about the 220uF vs 100 uF in the power supply. Thanks for your help!
