Got a request for this one for Fuzz Friday. Fairly simple fuzz + boost box. Originals used PNP silicon transistors, but you can use NPNs just as well. The perf side below reflects the original's positive ground and the etch side shows daisy-chain-able negative ground. If you want to put 2 footswitches in a 1590B you could, as the board is small enough for that. Schematic on FSB.
So the boost in and out could be connected together if you only want the fuzz, or how does that part work?
ReplyDeleteIf you only want the fuzz, don't build the boost part (any of the components that connect to Q3). If you want the boost always on, wire the fuzz out directly to the boost in.
DeleteHi, I'm David from Mexico, the pedal is great, but it has some errors, the booster output cap must be 1 nano, not 10,
ReplyDeletethe pinout of the transitroes is wrong, it must be ECB to work, you can use any silicon and germanium transitror, (I use Germanium transitors as recommended in several forums), to correct the problem of pedal crunch sound I highly recommend place a 10k trimpot on the 10k resistor and adjust the bias until the clear sound without signal cuts, in general the pedal works perfect, thanks and good day
