Eazius Tremor

Stumbled across this schematic and it's like CJ's Shoot the Moon and the EA Tremolo had a baby (Though I think this predates the Shoot the Moon...)–the audio path is like the Shoot the Moon and the LFO from the EA Tremolo has been adapted to pulse an LED. Use a 5mm diffused yellow LED and a 2k light/2M dark LDR (or socket and experiment). The trimmer is a gain/volume control. Set to unity and forget about it.

  1. Hmmm, pricy OPA2134. You could substitute it with any good low noise dual opamp I presume (TL071 etc).

  2. Yes, pretty much any dual opamp will work, but get a TL072. 071 is a single ;)

  3. layout is working sir plase mark as verified.
I have encountered a volume problem, the volume drops dramatically when the tremolo engaged. Did not find out why but maybe because I had used 2n3904 instead of 5088, maybe because tl082 but the circuit is working as intended. neat and easy build.

    1. The transistor is just used in the LFO, so that won't effect the volume. Did you max the gain trimmer?

    2. yes, It does give a semi-distorted sound at max cleaner sound at lower levels. But in order to get its sound audible, I increased my amp volume from 2 to 6-7 . I checked my pcb again and I decided to make another one and give it another try. Will inform from here when the secong build finished.

  5. verified. Work with tl 062,72, Jrc4558.

  6. Would it be possible to incorporate a flashing LED to match the rate and if so how could I go about this?

    1. Easiest way would be to put another LED in series with the one on the board (between the Depth pot and LED+)
