For Fuzz Friday, here's a cool variation on the Fuzzrite circuit by Apocalypse Audio. It takes the classic Fuzzrite, adds some extra gain, and a pretty clever tone control. More info and the schematic can be found here.
Verified! Great fuzz. It worked the first, made me remember immediately "satisfation" I did not have BC108B, I used 109B and C (300 and 500HFE), I also tested with 238B, 239C with good results. Thanks for the great layouts!
The 100nF in H2 is the input capacitor, right ? It cuts out a lot of bass, which is pleasing, but i wish i could make a switch with a bass boost. Which value whould i choose to allow more bass passing through ?
That is the input cap, yes. Try a 470nF or even a 1uF for more bass. Though the other cap values in this are pretty small as well and you'll probably need to tweak them as well.
