Here's a unique overdrive design by Bajaman over on FSB. You can build it with either a buffered bypass or true bypass. If using true bypass, omit the 1k resistor below the lower TL062, and the 1uF cap and 100k resistor connected to the BP Out pad. To wire for buffered bypass, connect the In pad to the input jack, the FX Out pad to lug 1 of the footswitch, lug 2 to the output jack, and the BP Out pad to lug 3. More info and schematic over on the FSB thread. Thanks to 287m for sharing his layout.
Thanks for the layout! I have been trying to figure out DIYLC to make PCB's of Baja's layouts...Mine look like Spaghetti. Any chance I can get ahold of the diylc file for this project?
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the next video!
ReplyDeletethank you for the great layout!
ReplyDeletei will try to build this night.
i also find the diylc tutorials fantastic!
and did anyone a pcb layout of the dumbloid?
Sorry to hijack this post but can we get the FuzzHugger DoomBloom layout fixed? Based on the comments it looks like it’s still not fixed.

ReplyDeleteFixed it! Didn't realize it still had issues. Should be good to go now.
DeleteThank you so much for the videos!
ReplyDeleteThe finished layout for transfer is also made in this program?
Howdy, just curious if you saw that Baja revised this design (as Baja AFD MkII) and claims the mkII version gives final results that are much closer to the real deal amp. Any chance you'd consider posting the MKII design here as well? Thanks as always for all the hard work put into this site, it is a treasure trove for us tinkerers :)
ReplyDeleteAnyone else built this one yet? I built it and am getting very low output...Haven't figured out why yet...just wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue with this one.
ReplyDeleteYess man!!!
ReplyDeleteit took a while, but now i had time to buid this one,and what should i say?
Great!!! i did the pcb layout, and it workes perfect with the layout values!!!
mine is not boxed yet,but i think i make a true bypass version.
another great layout thank you very much.
( i think you can mark it as verified )

( maby a pcb layout of the tiny giant amp? )
bluesanderl
one more project completed successfully !!!
ReplyDeleteit works perfectly!!!
one tip is to add a tone control after it, but the way it's been made is perfect for me.
Thanks again for the beautiful work and the wonderful layouts !!!
here is a link for those who want to add a simple tone stack to the jaba afd output to better control the tone.
