Electro Harmonix Soul Preacher

There have been a few different iterations of the Soul Preacher. This one follows the version that isn't based around an OTA chip (much like a DynaComp), but is rather much closer to an Orange Squeezer. The original used a buffered bypass, and I've included an extra pad for the buffer out if you want to build it that way. Here's the schematic for reference.

    1. It may work fine as is. But if not, probably some capacitor values. You'd have to experiment.

    1. No, the Soul Food is a Klon copy. This is a compressor

  6. I'm confused about the out and buffered out how do you use these two together?

    1. To use the buffered out you'd use a DPDT footswitch. Wire the In pad to the input jack, the Out pad to lug 1 of the footswitch, lug 2 to the output jack, and lug 3 to the Buffered Out pad. Then use the other side of the footswitch for LED on/off indication. The input buffer of the circuit will always be in the signal path, with the compressor portion bypassed by the footswitch.
