Devi Ever Electric Brown

Here's a unique little circuit from Devi. Plenty of gain on tap to go from just a boost, to an overdrive, to fuzzy the more your turn up the volume control. The Pregain control acts more like a tone control, panning between 2 capacitors. The first transistor stage is kind of like an Electra Distortion, and then I don't quite understand the 2nd transistor, but it works and it sounds good.

    1. I would have thought that too, but from what I can tell, it's not.

  2. This producing tone-sound richer than Purple Plexi 800.
And your PCB layout was perfectly good!
This beauty grounding reduce noise very much!

    Thank's Bro

  3. Volume 1 and volume 3 are changed no? That way the pot will work reversed. In fact I have built this one and at least for me it was reversed. Also, the pregain is really giving you more gain - not sure how or why. Maybe it is changing the input inpedance?
In my version the pregain also works reversed. Did I make a mistake?

    1. Check out the General Layout Notes tab for the correct numbering of pot lugs.
