This is a variation of the Mictester Silicon Tonebender, which is based of the Tone Bender Mk II Professional circuit. John Lyons was kind enough to shed some light on his version over at FSB.
First of all, thaks for your work with all the layouts. The error remains in the pcb: junction between 4,7uf(neg)/100 ohm and Q4 (emitter)/ 10k. The layout is fine, i think. Sorry for my bad english!.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteOne mistake on the PCB. 4uF7 and 100 ohm to ground is OK but 10k to 100 ohm you must cut.
Super sound, marvelous fuzz

If you can find a schematic I can. I haven't been able to find one. My guess is that John Lyons is the only one who has one.

ReplyDeleteCheck out the General Layout Notes tab at the top of the page.
DeleteHi, is this from an actual Scarab trace? Or just from one or mictesters posts?
ReplyDeleteNot quite a trace, but a very educated guess off some info from John Lyons himself.
DeleteGood stuff, many thanks😀
