I got hold of the proper chip and it works better, but still not usable. It hits some kind of resonance point in the sweep and just howls unpleasantly. Been over my build a dozen times, I don't think I did anything wrong.Alan Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06989545937343493984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-74362021246743168272023-09-22T15:22:36.056-04:002023-09-22T15:22:36.056-04:00Hi, I built this circuit today according to the la...Hi, I built this circuit today according to the layout, and verified it with the schematic here: https://www.diyschematics.com/schematics/galleries/Richard-Boop-RLBJR65/album107/Morula_Schematic.gif I have pretty much the same issue: big oscillator thump and a very muffled output. I can get the rate up to maybe 120bpm-ish and then it starts making zipper noises and slows down after that. Possible I did something wrong, of course. Any guidance would be appreciated.Alan Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06989545937343493984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-64251669016403853442023-04-09T02:57:25.328-04:002023-04-09T02:57:25.328-04:00Is this verified or not?Is this verified or not?Mr.DIYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07684540291196623436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-52852945898235277782021-03-03T22:00:35.785-05:002021-03-03T22:00:35.785-05:00Did it had ticking noise?

I think this vero layout is verified and there was no mention of tick so I went ahead and laid it out.

http://guitar-fx-layouts.42897.x6.nabble.com/MORULA-4049-autowah-td47669.htmlEffects Layoutshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11341183658959824998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-48192080224557172462019-11-22T21:35:51.439-05:002019-11-22T21:35:51.439-05:00Has anyone ever seen a working version of this cir...Has anyone ever seen a working version of this circuit? The reason I ask is a few years ago I tried breadboarding something very similar to this and while it worked, I could never keep the oscillator from "ticking"... The only thing that helped was using a separate chip for the oscillator.Frank Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13382579482224074279noreply@blogger.com
