This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

DOD Overdrive 250 Grey Spec

Here's the grey spec DOD Overdrive 250 that fits in a 1590a enclosure. You could also build a yellow spec 250 or the MXR Distortion + with this layout. Just compare the schematics and value swaps.

  2. Verified It works!!! Perfect tone ! Remember me about Danelectro T bone distortion, a Smootly and Warm tone.
    But you should use 3pdt eady wiring system, (is the same as General Layout Notes, but without the jumper starting from the pin #1).

  6. I can't find the C500K pot, only C250K and C1M, can I use any of them in place of C500K? If so, do I need to make any mod? Thanks!
