Mine got way quieter with the gain dialed down, but the sound never cut out completely. A "C" taper pot does indeed work better for the gain, though even then I would leave the gain at 90-100%. So if this layout was not verified by the guy in the first comment, it is now.JDThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04252685794749449237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-11918624495390498182021-04-11T08:27:29.512-04:002021-04-11T08:27:29.512-04:00there is a list of the components we need ?there is a list of the components we need ?vinylhead66https://www.blogger.com/profile/12227110573529649152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-91068261738313685872019-06-17T05:18:12.722-04:002019-06-17T05:18:12.722-04:00I made the posted in the above post reply from a s...I made the posted in the above post reply from a schematic straight from my original. U mean you don't have ROE (Rodenstein) capacitors? Which components are you having trouble finding? I have built around 10 of these and can say that they sound very similar regardless if which brand of components you use. There are Rodenstein caps available on eBay. They do sound a big fatter sounding, but like any pedal with tolerance they are all a bit hit and miss you even if you had all the original caps. Carbon comp resistors are available on eBay too. I have some ROE caps.pete_ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805536347142221143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-11358519548488163222019-02-09T19:24:08.055-05:002019-02-09T19:24:08.055-05:00i came across this page after i bought this pedal ...i came across this page after i bought this pedal and wanted to recreate it and sell my original. i spent days trying to find the components straight from the pedal without much luck. now even with this schematic im having difficulty finding each component. anyone have any tips or anything. its my first time wiring a pedal from scratch. im a welder by trade.Nick Kershak Videographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01509973842119271795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-22412281661908579932019-02-09T19:23:05.875-05:002019-02-09T19:23:05.875-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Nick Kershak Videographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01509973842119271795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-35820487903515266972019-02-09T19:22:16.291-05:002019-02-09T19:22:16.291-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Nick Kershak Videographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01509973842119271795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-23840483751788951012016-09-10T05:58:46.646-04:002016-09-10T05:58:46.646-04:00The schematic you drew up is right, but the perf p...The schematic you drew up is right, but the perf picture has it reversed and connected to groundpete_ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805536347142221143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-56709407168260941402016-09-09T06:06:19.301-04:002016-09-09T06:06:19.301-04:00Lug 2 should connect to 22uf - and the 22uf + shou...Lug 2 should connect to 22uf - and the 22uf + should connect to the 47k and E of q2

please check the link to the schem i made from my schaller unitpete_ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805536347142221143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-66942916848539252182016-08-16T10:03:48.371-04:002016-08-16T10:03:48.371-04:00Oh thanks for the info Peter!
