For CX capacitor (filter for removing/reducing oscilation) you can tweak with some value from 330pf to 10n (the results vary in sustain output) . It works to me and i hope working for everyone. Happy build everyone, cheers!Orang Gilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17623374979199247950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-33459791732102911092023-10-20T00:45:18.408-04:002023-10-20T00:45:18.408-04:00Does anyone have any ideas for adding gain adjustm...Does anyone have any ideas for adding gain adjustment pots?

I have built and played with many of these and it is time to adjust the gain.PedalJPNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00950869334312719385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-83066027354822825372021-02-26T17:55:22.875-05:002021-02-26T17:55:22.875-05:00I don't hear much of a difference when using t...I don't hear much of a difference when using the switch. Literacy is a gift as saw this comment a while ago.
The original op-amp was an RC1458, however you are encouraged to audition any dual opamp, as this component is an integral part of the sound. The JRC4558 opamp works quite well. Some faster/better op-amps like TL072 and NE5532 produce a slightly brighter sound. Modern rail-to-rail opamps like TLC2262 and TLC2272 sound a bit louder and better defined. In particular, our favorite op-amps were the JRC4558 and TLC2262.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02073372949146969805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-74847081084046710262018-06-16T10:50:32.961-04:002018-06-16T10:50:32.961-04:00the 330pf capacitor did you use it as Cx?the 330pf capacitor did you use it as Cx?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06637093666545416169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-55721022879695168782018-06-05T13:20:43.660-04:002018-06-05T13:20:43.660-04:00I used a 330pf and a 4558D...Sounded pretty good! ...I used a 330pf and a 4558D...Sounded pretty good!
