Do you think this could be due to bad 2N5457 ICs ? thanks.Nicolini de Semolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04976658187985554860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-21250663070547147402019-12-02T11:05:20.286-05:002019-12-02T11:05:20.286-05:00I just try mmbf5457 on adapter, works perfect with...I just try mmbf5457 on adapter, works perfect with them... no volume loss at all on buffered mod... just pickup up some good 2n5457 or SMD version... ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12098768772058303673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-54801006724858070692019-12-02T08:25:31.153-05:002019-12-02T08:25:31.153-05:00Yes, same problem here. Will try some SMD versions of 2n5457... think, i might have some "fake" out of specs 2n5457... Sounds beautifully, it took a little work to finish, many wires to solder, I made a small change to be able to switch between clipping the 2n7000 and some red LEDs, there is a small change in the sound but I still don't know if it's worth it. Thanks for more this great layout!Monjehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03657786094910154709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-80791299906056943812019-07-20T11:49:10.634-04:002019-07-20T11:49:10.634-04:00Thank you great, David!Thank you great, David!ZZOYDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17557567967251809829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-34316011829190248932019-07-19T14:58:37.632-04:002019-07-19T14:58:37.632-04:00FixedFixedEffects Layoutshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11341183658959824998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5481402030233340127.post-7647340900554197532019-07-19T10:32:38.665-04:002019-07-19T10:32:38.665-04:00Yeah you're right.
