Frantone Cream Puff

Happy Fuzz Friday, everyone! Got a few requests for this one. It's a bit like a fuzz in the way a Big Muff is a fuzz–bridges the gap between fuzz and distortion. And it's somewhat similar to a Big Muff with two gain stages pushing a BMP tone stack. Schematic can be found over on FSB.

  3. im wondering if this is correct as i saw someone had the same issue a decade ago on FSB. Of the two sets of diodes only one set seems to be clipping (lighting up). It sounds as it should from what i can tell. Does anyone know why that set isnt clipping, or maybe im misunderstanding something?

    1. When LEDs are used as clipping diodes (especially for soft clipping like in this circuit) they aren't necessarily going to light up. If it sounds right, it's probably working just fine.
